QS was invented in Chile in 1977, and has undergone rigorous scientific study, producing scores of peer reviewed articles attesting to its safety and efficacy. In clinical trials globally, more than 200,000 women in 50 countries have chosen QS as their method of permanent contraception, with no serious side effects and no deaths reported.
